March, 2022: I’m designing and painting a selfie window for The Reef Check Foundation in Marina del Rey, California. The painting will highlight coral reef life and allow selfie- takers to be “immersed” in the scene. Stay tuned for updates. And go to ReefCheck.org to donate. UPDATE: IT’S FINISHED!
February, 2022: My show at the Little Cafe, Rochester, New York, was a great experience. Two of my paintings found new homes.
January, 2022: In sobering news, the New York Times Magazine featured an article on Najin and Fatu, the last two African White Rhinos in existence. When they’re gone, that’s it. Jack Davison, the photographer who shot the pictures, allowed me to paint one of them. See Najin and Fatu in Beautiful Extinction.
November, 2021: I was awarded a Juror’s Award for my painting, Reef Madness, by the Rochester Art Club.
